JoeScan increases warranty period from 1 year to 5 years, effective May 1

VANCOUVER, WASH. – JoeScan has announced that all JS-20 scanners sold after May 1, 2007, will be backed by a 5-year manufacturing defect warranty and a 10-year support guarantee. All JS-20s sold before May 1, 2007, are backed by a 1-year manufacturing defect warranty, 5-year laser warranty and 10-year support guarantee.

The new warranty covers any manufacturing defects for 5 years and promises that JoeScan will ship the repaired or replaced JS-20 to the customer within 3 business days of receiving the product. The support guarantee ensures that JS-20 scan heads will be backed by JoeScan for at least 10 years from the day they are purchased.
